Teplý, Tomáš ; Horák, Jiří (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
Well-known dielectric image guide reach in millimeter-wave interesting results. Compared to a conventional types of lines and waveguides is characterised by low-through loss for frequencies approaching 100 GHz. This work is detail focused to basic characteristics and especially type of perforate highpermitivity substrate for obtain implemented waveguide to dielectric board (SIIG). The work also contains couple suggestions for various transitions from a commonly used lines and waveguides. Simulation results using finite element method is achieved attenuation values below 2 dB, which corresponds to a 2 cm length and include a waveguide itself with a pair of transitions. Finally, this work also designed the production method and SIIG applicatoin in practicle.
Waveguide-SIW transitions
Bednarský, Vojtěch ; Láčík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Špůrek, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with the design of waveguide transitions. In this work I describe two usually used types of waveguides and that is classical rectangular waveguide with standardized designation WR-10, which is designed for working frequency 94GHz. The second type will be a waveguide integrated into the substrate called SIW. In the first part, numerical models of waveguides are calculated and transitions are created. Numerical models are simulated in CST Microwave Studio. Transitions are constructed in two types. Horizontal transition and orthogonal transition. The results of the first part are obtained dimensions of parameters from numerical models and S-parameters of transition sets.

The original building of the academic canteen was built in 1929 as the work of architect Vinzinger Baier, a professor of architecture. In terms of context, the building is located on the border between a busy city and a vast park. The premises and mass of the building respond in abstraction to the city / street transition with clear order and nature through a rational conception of disposition and facade into the street, and subsequent decomposition and irrationalization both vertically and horizontally towards the park. Thus, the object is a special kind of fragmentary gradient, and so it is handled within the framework of the reconstruction of the Center of Architecture, linking archive of modern architecture and creative center in one institution.

Mikulík, Petr ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
Thesis extends an existing open source CSSBox project by adding support for new CSS3 properties to its jStyleParse parser. Specifically, support for box-shadow, grid layout and finaly CSS animations and transitions was added. Thesis is, just like the original project, writen Java and consists of a series of data structures, implementation methods and testing classes. The result is a git pull request on Github.com over the original project repository. All changes related to this thesis are applied to the project and are therefore part of it.
Assessing the contribution of bioeconomy to the economic growth and development of Ghana: analysis of the fishery industry
Omari, Frank Agyekum
The concept of bioeconomy and its importance in achieving economic growth while protecting the environment has gained significant attention on the research and policy front in recent years. The fisheries sector in Ghana is economically important and provides employment opportunities, but there is a lack of understanding on how to effectively adopt the bioeconomy paradigm in the sector. This study aims to identify the key factors such as employee motivation, research and innovation, knowledge and skills, regulatory quality, and the production process quality facilitating bioeconomy transition. The scope of the study focuses on exploring the nature of bioeconomy in Ghana in general and the contribution of bioeconomy to the growth of the economy and the development of Ghana. The research methodology relied on both primary and secondary data source and the study sample consisted of management and staff in the fishery sector. Utilizing structural equation modeling (SEM), SMARTPLS 4 software was employed to examine the data. Findings of this study revealed that, key drivers such as motivation of employees, knowledge and skills, research and innovation, regulatory quality, and the quality of the production process all tested significant to the dependent variable of organizational performance. The study provides significant findings regarding the factors, challenges, and approaches involved in the successful implementation of bioeconomy in Ghana’s fisheries industry. Based on the findings, important actions to enable a seamless transition include the implementation of strong financial mechanisms, formulation of supportive policy frameworks, and promoting research and development initiatives.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of alternative education. It deals with the adaptation of Waldorf primary school graduates in their transition to tradi-tional secondary schools. The thesis describes the origin, development and classifi-cation of alternative schools. It presents their principal characteristic features, specifics in the approach to students in the classes and differences from traditional school education. In the main part, the thesis focuses on describing phenomenons appearing in students' transition from primary to secondary schools and possible problems in their adaptation to the traditional type of teaching.
Women of Transition: Collective Memory in Azerbaijan Republic
Hashimova, Husniyya ; Marková, Alena (advisor) ; Coman, Adam (referee)
By the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, the social, political and economic transformation had a major impact on Azerbaijani society that was part of the Soviet Union for nearly seventy years. How it is remembered is as important as what happened. This thesis examines the collective memory of Azerbaijani women of transition and de(re) construction of their collective identity. Biographical interviews were conducted with ten women living in four cities of Azerbaijan. The research results indicate that gendered collective memory of the Soviet past and transition encompasses both nostalgic sentiments and trauma. These results conclude that historical consciousness and political awareness of Azerbaijani women is insufficient. Nevertheless, their collective identity has been constructed by their collective memory of the quotidian life. Keywords: collective memory, collective identity, Soviet Union, transition, Azerbaijani women, nostalgia, cultural trauma, oral history
Boundary layer transition visualization in aerodynamic tunnel
Holík, Denis ; Trusík, Vojtěch (referee) ; Popela, Robert (advisor)
The purpose of the thesis was to propose and test an imaging method that allows visualization of the transition of a laminar boundary layer to a turbulent one and visualization of laminar boundary layer separation on the side mirror of a car. The beginning of the paper discusses the theoretical foundations associated with boundary layer formation and its evolution under various conditions. Afterwards, a survey of existing imaging methods that allow the display of flow on the surface of bodies was carried out. Of these methods, imaging using a thermal imaging camera was selected on the basis of the specified characteristics. The method using oil film (oilflow) was chosen as a control. Using both methods, experiments were conducted to confirm the suitability of the thermal imaging method for visualizing the transition of a laminar boundary layer to a turbulent boundary layer. The final test revealed the presence of laminar boundary layer separation on the upper cover of the car side mirror. At the end of the thesis, possible errors associated with the two chosen visualization methods were summarized, and ways to incorporate the thermal imaging method into automotive testing were proposed.
The transition of students from little class school to a fully organised school
Ciroková, Nikola ; Wildová, Radka (advisor) ; Ronková, Jolana (referee)
The diploma thesis is focused on the transition of pupils from a small school to a fully levelled school. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on historical development of small schools and their basic characteristics, as they are very different compared to fully levelled schools. The focus here is on a fully levelled school and the transition between grades. Common and different features between a small school and a fully levelled school are outlined here. The practical part consists of the case studies of two selected pupils from the fifth grade of one small school, which were later analyzed during the transition to second grade. The practical part also includes interviews with school principals of two small schools, which are then compared from the point of view of organization. Additionally, the satisfaction and reservations of students' parents towards both types of schools are examined through a questionnaire provided to them. The aim of the thesis was to show how pupils from the fifth grade of small schools deal with the transition to a fully levelled schools and point out that even little class schools provide the same quality teaching as fully levelled schools. The research showed that after the transition from small school...

The thesis deals with the topic of the transition of people with intellectual disabilities from school to adult life. The aim is to understand this process and the factors that influence it, to find out how respondents perceive a successful transition and what leads to it. The theoretical background regarding the transition of persons with intellectual disabilities to adulthood is described. A definition of the transition process, its planning and domains are given. The available support in the Czech Republic, the issue of self-determination and the role of the family during the transition period are described. In the next section, adulthood, its periods and specifics for persons with intellectual disabilities are defined. The research was carried out within the PEDAL project. A qualitative research strategy and a focus group discussion method were chosen. The respondents of the survey were five pedagogical workers of schools according to Section 16 (9) educating pupils and students with intellectual disabilities in the last two to three years of schooling. Through thematic analysis, four themes and several sub-themes were defined to address the research questions. It was found that transition planning during schooling takes many forms and involves many actors. The individual's environment,...
